White Loxodon Commander Party: January 4, 2:00 PM

 

$5 is to hold spot, it will be refunded when you check in for event.

 

Details:

Each player must bring a wrapped commander deck. You will give this deck away. Total value should be no more than $50.

All decks will go in a wrapped pile. Random player 1 will pick a deck and open it, but only reveal the commander, no other info.

Player 2 will then either take another random deck or steal the deck from another player. Repeat through all the players.

Once all decks are out, player 1 gets 1 more chance to start a steal train.

Once all the decks are distributed, we'll randomize pods and play 3 games.

There will be points awarded for deck building and gamplay. The most points after the games gets to pick the deck to take home and so on down the line.

Some finer details on deck building -

Total deck value should be around $50. We'll send an email out to registered people the week before to get decklists. Walk-ins should bring a deck list showing value through a website like archidekt. It isn't a competitve event, so we aren't being strict, but try and be as close as possible, so everyone is getting the same value and the gameplay is balanced.
